Shania Twain’s eye-catching new style is sure to turn heads! The country music legend, known for her iconic fashion statements, brought her A-game to the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, where she served as host on Peacock.
Arriving at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Shania wowed attendees with a 60s-inspired blonde hairstyle and a stunning all-denim ensemble adorned with diamonds. Her mermaid-style dress, created in collaboration with Levi’s, cascaded elegantly around her feet and featured a sparkling collar, exposed shoulders, and matching denim gloves. “Isn’t it crazy? I love it,” Shania shared exclusively with E! News cohost Keltie Knight. “I was involved with the sketches, design, silhouette—everything. To me, that’s the joy. It’s not just about wearing something amazing; it’s about being part of the process.”
Shania Twain has always approached red carpet fashion as a thrilling adventure, often showcasing jaw-dropping outfits, including the striking black-and-white bell-bottomed suit paired with a towering matching hat and a vibrant red wig at the 2023 Grammys.
“For me, fashion is a powerful tool for conveying my personality and expressing my creativity,” the 59-year-old singer remarked in an April 2023 Instagram post, reflecting on her sheer red and black butterfly dress from last year’s CMT Awards. “Other than spending time with friends, it’s one of my favorite aspects of attending award shows! Life is too short for boring clothes!!”
In addition to hosting the 2024 PCCAs, the “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” artist is also nominated for Concert Tour of 2024, competing against heavyweights like Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, and Morgan Wallen. Other notable nominees include Beyoncé, Kacey Musgraves, and Kane Brown, who received 12, 10, and seven nominations, respectively.
Regardless of the outcomes, Shania is ready for a memorable night as the event’s host, drawing inspiration from another country music icon: Reba McEntire.
“The hosts are chosen carefully, ensuring they relate to the audience and have experience,” Shania told Billboard in a recent interview. “Reba is one of my favorite hosts—she’s funny, smart, and loved by all. It’s a compliment to be asked to host an awards show, and I look up to her.”
